Twenty five contestants will be taking part in the Miss World Malta competition final at the Hilton Conference Centre this Saturday.

Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja, from Modelle International, the company that organizes the event, told a press conference held at Mona Lisa lounge in Valletta on Wednesday that the winner will win a month-long trip to Indonesia. There, she participate in various promotional and charity activities leading up to the Miss World competition, televised around the world, on 28 September.

Flanked by Miss World Malta 2012, Daniela Delicata, Ms Calleja explained that the winner’s preparations for her epic trip, as well as the 25 contestants’ activities in the run up to Saturday’s show, will be featured in a special weekly programme called Miss World Malta… Indonesia on NET TV every Tuesday at 9.30pm. Saturday’s show at the Hilton will also be broadcast, live from 9pm, on NET TV.

The 25 girls have already been subjected to a personality judging session, and the points gained will be taken into account by other judges on Saturday, where the girls will take part in an opening dance choreographed by Jes Sciberras as well as modeling various type of clothing on the catwalk.
