Malta Independent Thursday, 25 April 2013, 11:07 Last update: about 11 years ago

Raju Arjal is the new chef at TemptAsian, the renowned rooftop restaurant at The Palace. Prior to coming to Malta chef Arjal studied Hospitality Management and Food preparation in one of Nepal’s leading development Institute, obtaining a Grade A certificate.

With him, chef Arjal brings to The Palace and in particular TemptAsian, a wealth of experience and a genuine passion to prepare and create what comes most natural to him – Indian cuisine. Chef Arjal has put together a new and exciting menu with a range of Indian dishes, which offer pleasant alternatives to the usual Asian fare, every Wednesday night.

Commenting on the new appointment, Joseph Xuereb, executive chef of TemptAsian said: “TemptAsian offers a unique experience and Raju Arjal’s vast experience, creativity and enthusiasm will enhance the success and reputation earned over the past few years. Raju introduced some popular dishes which are typical Indian staples such as Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rojonjost.”

“The Palace is a nice environment with friendly staff and it feels good to cook authentic Indian dishes with the best ingredients and provide customer satisfaction,” Raju Arjal said.

TemptAsian offers a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience with a location that is characterised by breathtaking views of Valletta and its harbour. Coupled with the relaxed ambiance of an Asian setting and the scrumptious food, the TemptAsian experience is not to be missed.
