Marthese Portelli, Opposition spokesperson for European affairs, noted with satisfaction that the parliamentary secretary for EU funds Ian Borg had admitted in an interview that the PN had a good policy in the sector.

In a statement she said that the Labour Party had been very negative on EU membership and Malta would not have gained anything if it had stayed out.

She encouraged the government to continue working to bring more funds from which all the country could benefit.
