A 48-year-old man from Birkirkara suffered grievous injuries but is not on the danger after crashing in a central slip while driving his Toyota Hilux.

The incident happened this morning at around 10.30am in Birkirkara bypass.

The man was taken to Mater Dei by an ambulance after members of the Civil Protection Department lifted him out of the car.
