Sheer crochet jumpsuits, silk blouses and plunging smock tops: No, it's not for ladies, it's London Fashion Week Men's Collections

A baby pink pyjama shorts suit by Lou Dalton is the most sophisticated outfit to come out of Men's Fashion Week so far.

Shocking designs including a see-through all-in-one with frilly cuffs, a clingy crop top and a green velour tracksuit are just some of the creations to grace the catwalk from Danish born designer Astrid Andersen's hilarious show today.

The three-day Spring Summer 2014 extravaganza, which runs 15 to 18 June, saw Hong Kong born designer Kay Kwok send a model down the runway sporting the curious combination of box clutch bag, plunging V-neck top and shorts combo topped off with a slick middle parted hair style - curled pointily at the ends.

Chunky sandals were a big hit across many collections. But ankle swinging bell-bottom trousers were a unique trend for Kay Kwok who featured laser pattern formalwear in adventurous cuts.

Kwok also showed some more masculine designs though such as a grey marl suit with offbeat folds and fastenings - though the model's hair was styled into a pin-up girl style faux smile fringe.

Topman Design meanwhile presented a collection of much the same outfits: silk blouse-style Western shirts in pearl, gold, silver and burgundy, baggy black chinos belted with metallic belts and reflective sunglasses. All styles featured floral embroidery.

While his collection's inspiration was consistent, the beauty look of Andersen's show was somewhat less focussed, with varying hair and make up styles spanning the day's offering.

The all-in-one or tracksuit style was commonplace as was the colour green, plus floral prints, white lace crochet and plenty of velour.

Lou Dalton meanwhile showed a tamer collection at Fashion Week today - though still taking risks with tailoring, prints and presentation.

His offering featured an offbeat suit with patchy prints and asymmetric construction and a crumpled grey boiler suit - the hottest word in fashion right now - making for yet more quirky additions to the event.
