The UHM has had a meeting with the parliamentary secretary for planning and administrative simplification, Michael Farrugia, when it discussed the reform of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, which the UHM said it would be keeping under its eye to protect the employees’ interests.
The union said the two sides agreed to work together so that the Mepa reform would be done in the interest of the country, particularly Mepa’s employees. They also discussed the process of separating the environment directorate from that of planning.
