Over 40 French brands to show SS & AW line at Pure London

Contemporary womenswear tradeshow Pure London, organised by i2i Events, will once again play host to vast array of French fashion and footwear brands at its forthcoming edition.

Taking place at London Olympia from August 4-6, over 40 French brands will be showcasing their SS14 and AW13 collections at the forthcoming edition of Pure London.

Making his Pure London debut Parisian designer Léo Guy will showcasing the SS14 range from his eponymous womenswear brand. Said to exemplify luxury and refinement the Léo Guy brand consists of feminine suits, evening gowns and knitwear pieces.

Contemporary womenswear brand IKKS will also be unveiling its SS14 collection at the show. Described as having a sophisticated simplicity, the standout pieces from the brand’s latest collection are a perforated white cotton trench coat, a gold lace perfecto jacket and a silver python print jacket. Dresses also form a key part of the collection with jewelled embellishment used on collars and seams. The jeans in the collection are ultra-light and come in a variety of washes and finishes.

Classic womenswear brand Bleu D’Azur will be presenting both its SS14 forward-order collection as well as its AW13 short-order collection at the show. Comprising comfortable fabrics such as jersey and stretchy cotton, this collection offers plenty of colourful and glamorous dresses elegant silhouettes. Sold mainly in France, the French Caribbean Islands, with some distribution in the UK, the brand is hoping to increase its reach in the UK and Europe by attending Pure London.

Returning to Pure London for a fifth consecutive season is renowned French brand Petit Bateau, which focuses on spontaneity, optimism and energy with its SS14 range. The new collection pays tribute to the brand and is said to radiate the French spirit of joie de vivre, inspired by the Petit Bateau archives from the 60s and 70s.

Accessories brand Nat & Nin will be bringing a colourful and contemporary range of leather handbags to the show. Available in a range of styles including weekend bags, shoulder bags and clutches in colours such as red tango, rich chocolate and glossy black, this French accessories brand provides something for everyone.

Joining Nat & Nin in the accessories hall, fashion jewellery brand Taratata Bijoux will be showcasing its latest collection featuring a wide range of bracelets, necklaces and earrings. The range combines originality with creativity and comprises 26 different stories alongside the brand’s selection of classic pieces.

The footwear hall will also see several French brands exhibiting their SS14 collections. Founded in 2000, Dear Frances, offers a range of luxury heeled shoes, all handmade in Italy using high quality Italian leathers. Joining Dear Frances in the footwear hall K by Karston is returning to Pure London for the SS14 season. With all of the footwear in the range manufactured in France, K by Karston offers a wide selection of contemporary styles.

Other French brands showcasing their collections at Pure will include the likes of; Dehry, Ixli, Fil de Joie, Ideal Shoes, Perla Duna, IXLE, Grace & Mila, Lucy Paris, Red Soul, Villaret, La Naturelle and Goubi.
