Scottish national pleads guilty to misappropriation of funds

A Scottish national today pleaded guilty before court to charges of misappropriation of funds and was conditionally discharged for three years.

The woman, Eleanor Martin, 58, who resides in St Julian’s, was also ordered to pay the sum of €12,600 within nine months.

Martin was charged with misappropriating a sum of money which exceeded €2,329.37 when she was in charge of such money, to the detriment of a travel agency. It is understood she was employed by the same company.
