Former judge Ray Pace, who was found dead in May, died intestate, (without leaving a will).

This week’s Government Gazette carried notice of an application filed in the Civil Court of Voluntary Jurisdiction by Dr Pace’s widow and children asking for procedures to be initiated to regulate the inheritance.

Dr Pace had resigned from the judiciary late last year, after having been accused of bribery and trading in influence. Criminal proceedings against him were ongoing and he was on bail.
