Felix Fenech, 47, of Mosta, was charged in court with being in possession of a weapon and a firearm without a licence. He was also charged with threatening another person.

The man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine months in jail suspended for 18 months. He was also prohibited from having a firearm for five years.
