Together with the Malta High Commission in London, Crimsonwing, a company which offers fully integrated IT solutions for eCommerce, ERP & custom development, has organised a seminar on the perks of doing business in Malta. This seminar was held on 29 July at Malta House in Piccadilly, London and attracted a large number of attendees.

This seminar targeted businesses interested in expanding, outsourcing  or looking at relocating elsewhere with better business benefits and incentives.  A number of leading speakers highlighted Malta as the business location of choice.

High Commissioner Zammit Tabona remarked “the High Commission has an increasingly more pivotal role in offering support to businesses interested in Malta.

David Walsh, Crimsonwing CEO spoke about his own experience of near-shoring in Malta saying that “having an IT Solution Centre in Malta has been exceptionally positive for us.”

The Malta Solution Centre of Crimsonwing was set up in 1998, as a near-shore development facility. The Maltese registered company Crimsonwing plc was then created in 2007 and has been listed on the Malta Stock Exchange since January 2008, now employing over 170 staff in the Malta office.

The other speakers on the panel included Clive Brockdorff, Investment Promotion Manager at Malta Enterprise, Charles Cassar, Financial Services Manager at Chetcuti Cauchi, Victor Denaro, CIO at Bank of Valletta plc and Stephen Bullas, CEO of eCODE.

Three lucky seminar attendees won a trip to Malta to experience Malta’s business and cultural potential first-hand.
