Classic Jewellers recently hosted Marco Bicego, the designer and director of the jewellery line boasting the same name. The event also marked the launch of two new collections from Bicego’s line, Africa and Murano.

During the event, unique jewellery pieces from the Marco Bicego jewellery line were exclusively brought over to Malta just for that week. The man behind the magic himself, Mr Bicego and his team were in attendance to explain and show Classic Jewellers customers how each piece is unique and handmade with passion. Indeed, within each piece lies the essential and ingenious creativity brought to life by the skilled hands of a master craftsman.

Inspired by tribal jewellery and the soft dunes of the Sahara, Marco Bicego’s Africa Collection is an extravagant expression of golden boules of different sizes and finishes, all individually hand-engraved and textured. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings in this collection are extremely light with spherical surfaces that have been brushed and textured by hand in Marco Bicego’s Italian workshops in Trissino. 

Just as exquisite is the Murano Collection, which is inspired by the colours and artisanship of the Venetian island of Burano, a place that is close to the heart of Mr Bicego. Succulent colour flickers through organically faceted jewels within this visually dazzling collection, encased with precious stones.
