L-Orizzont and the Labour Party were ordered to pay €5,000 after being found guilty of libelling Health Commissioner Tonio Borg when he was still a minister.

On 22 August 2007, the newspaper had carried an advert by the PL which the court, presided by Magistrate Francesco Depasquale, found to be slanderous.
