An 8-year-old Syrian boy is being treated for his injuries after he was hit by a Land rover in Triq Hal Far, Birzebbuga, the police said.
After the accident a commotion ensued and a Rapid Intervention Police vehicle and an Isuzu Elf have been damaged.
The accident took place at around 1900hrs.
