Crimsonwing wins National Public Champion title

Crimsonwing Malta has been declared The National Public Champion for Malta in the 2013/14 European Business Awards.  

The European Business Awards is an independent Awards programme, designed to recognise and promote excellence, best practice and innovation in the European business community. Overall, 527 National Champions representing 31 countries across Europe entered the highly coveted Awards programme. Out of these, 30 companies have been named as their country’s National Public Champion, with Crimsonwing being Malta’s champion of choice. The final stage will see an overall European Public Champion being crowned.  

Crimsonwing has entered the awards, proudly showcasing its strengths as an IT solutions provider supplying and implementing best-in-class software packages, custom solutions and professional services. Around the three focus areas of eCommerce, ERP and systems integration, Crimsonwing provides numerous complementary services for a rounded offering. 

As part of the selection process, a video was produced with David Walsh, Crimsonwing’s CEO, giving a presentation on how after 15 years of operation, Crimsonwing has become Malta’s leading IT Solutions Provider. With offices in Malta, London and the Netherlands, Crimsonwing employs over 250 highly-qualified and motivated employees from 27 different countries. The company has been at the forefront in supporting all government initiatives in promoting ICT to students in Malta, and in providing high value-added jobs to Malta’s ICT economy. 

Partnered with global leaders such as Microsoft, Oracle, Magento, IBM and Intershop, Crimsonwing deploys solutions for major international companies in over 50 countries around the globe, and is now considered a highly successful Southern European ICT Story.  

Crimsonwing Malta now moves to the second phase of public voting which opened on January 14th and will run until 25th March 2014. Shareholders, employees, clients and partners are now encouraged to vote once again to continue supporting Crimsonwing. The company shall be representing Malta and competing with another 29 countries from across Europe for the title of European Public Champion.  The overall European Public Champion will be announced at the Gala Event in Athens in May 2014.
