A former Arriva driver, Ronald Gerada, was imprisoned for three years after being found guilty of misappropriating €15,000 in bus tickets.

Magistrate Anthony Vella heard how the former driver tampered with the bus computer system to acquire thousands of euros for himself, and in doing so, used a PIN account registered to another bus driver. Furthermore, Ronald Gerada committed the crime during a suspended sentence.

Inspector Jonathan Ferris prosecuted while lawyer Joe Giglio represented the accused.
