Eight foreigners were injured yesterday after the cabin cruiser they were in crashed with a reef in St Julians, near Portomaso. The incident occurred at around 9.30pm. A nearby boat assisted the passengers until the AFM were at the scene, and transported the passengers to Spinola, from where they were transferred to hospital by ambulance.

The passengers suffered from slight injuries.
