The daughter of a man who was jailed after she said he had sexually abused her today admitted to perjury.
Emanuel Camilleri, her dad, had been sentenced to two years imprisonment for sexually abusing his daughter. He was released in May by the Constitutional Court after spending 400 days in jail when it was revealed that her mother had forced her to lie in court.
Today, Lianne Camilleri, now aged 20, admitted to lying in court.
The case was put off to next month to enable her to reconsider her plea. A pre-sentencing report is also expected to be ordered.
