A man was today accused of stabbing his cousin in the lung following a family argument. The incident happened on 14 August.

Brandon Pace, 19 from Hamrun, was charged before Magistrate Francesco Depasquale with having stabbed Ivan Farrugia, his cousin, after the latter began dating Pace's ex girlfriend.

The stabbing occurred at 5pm in Miklem Malti street, Marsaskala. The victim was stabbed in the left hand side of his chest and punctured his lung.

The accused did not request bail.
