Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived in Malta today for the shooting of their film in Mgarr ix-Xini bay in Gozo.

The couple flew in from Nice and headed straight to Gozo.

"By the Sea" will be filmed at a specially constructed set in the picturesque Gozitan bay, which has been closed off to the public for three months last week.

The film, which will be issued by Universal pictures, was written by Angelina Jolie, who will also be its director.

The movie production is expected to generate millions of euro into the Maltese economy.
