Matthew Gatt appointed PN leader's Head of Office

Matthew Gatt has been appointed Head of Office of the Leader of the Nationalist Party and Leader of the Opposition Simon Busuttil. This is a new role being created to support Dr Busuttil's recently announced renewal of the Party and its structures. 

Mr Gatt, 28, attended St. Aloysius College Sixth Form and graduated in Economics in 2007 from the University of Malta. He went on to study at the University of Warwick where he received a Masters Degree in International Political Economy.

He served for four years in Brussels as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant to Dr Simon Busuttil and on returning to Malta he joined the Economic Policy Department as an Economics Analyst.
