Nationalist Party deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami this evening is expected to attend the first discussion at the Granaries, Floriana as part of the 50th Independence Day celebrations.

He will not contribute in the political discussion but instead he will talk about his fight against cancer.

It will be his first piublic appearance since he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

Dr Fenech Adami who came back from London on Sunday after he completed his 25  therapeutic sessions, said on Facebook that he will be staying here for a few weeks and expected to return back in October.
