Nationalist Party leader Simon Busuttil this afternoon met with Alexander Borg Olivier, the son of George Borg Olivier, who led Malta to Independence 50 years ago. Dr Busuttil told Dr Borg Olivier: "As your father created the Maltese State, so too did you." Dr Busuttil was referring to Dr Borg Olivier's role in the establishment of Kosovo where he represented the UN. Dr Borg Olivier was also for a time Malta's representative at the UN.
