Police were called to separate rival supporters of the union and independence after hundreds of people crowded into Glasgow's George square on Friday.
Union supporters and rivals sporting Yes badges argued over the referendum result, as a chorus of Rule Britannia was countered by the Scottish anthem, Flower of Scotland.
Police formed a human barrier to contain people in the square and some officers on mounted on horses lined up to divide the groups.
Three people were arrested after scuffles broke out and flare was let off.
