PN’s deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami is expected to undergo major surgery in the UK tomorrow, after he was diagnosed with a 15cm malignant tumour in his right shoulder blade a few months ago. Over the past couple of weeks, Dr Fenech Adami underwent a total of 25 chemotherapy sessions.

In an interview with Il-Mument, the deputy leader said that over the past weeks he has come to appreciate all that life has to offer. He said that being in such a situation makes it easy to lose control, and become desperate, however the support of those around him have helped him remain patient and hopeful. “I only hope the results will be positive, and that I will shortly be reunited with my family, and return to my normal routine,” he said.
