A group of 50 elderly persons will attend the University of the Third Age (U3E) in Gozo, Gozo Minister Anton Refalo said.

The elderly have a lot to offer society, and must have a say while living a healthy and independent life, the Minister added. Activities tied with this initiative began 18 years ago.

"This is a positive experience that helps keep the elderly population active while improving their quality of life"

The U3E courses in Gozo is coordinated by the Elderly and Special Needs Department of the Gozo Ministry.
