Chairman of the parliamentary working group on diabetes Godfrey Farrugia together with the Leader of the Opposition Simon Busuttil, presented to the Speaker of the House of Representatives Anġlu Farrugia, the report entitled "Health Choices".

The report describes the recommendations put forward by the working group composed of eleven Members of Parliament from both sides of the House of Representatives, who committed themselves in tackling this challenge whilst exploring options how to improve lives of those suffering from diabetes.

Speaker Anġlu Farrugia thanked the Chairman of the working group and the Leader of the Opposition and praised the efforts of the whole working group who collectively addressed such a national problem which effects over 30,000 Maltese diagnosed with diabetes and thousands of others who are still undiagnosed diabetics.
