Italian World Cup star Schillaci to take part in President's Fun Run for Solidarity on Sunday

Italian World Cup star Toto Schillaci will be joining us for the President's Solidarity Fun Run next Sunday. Schillaci, who took part in the 1990 World Cup and ended up as the competition's top goal-scorer, will run along thousand of runners who will leave from the Attard Presidential Palace.

He will be arriving in Malta, together with his family on Saturday evening.

The guest star, will be joining Francesco Mariottini, a very popular Italian dancer from Italian TV show Amici and many other local personalities, who will also take part in this year's Fun Run.  Popular local dj's will lead participants from each route, Alfred Zammit, John Bundy, Pierre Cordina, Joe Tanti, Nate Darmanin, Clint Bajada and Ron Briffa. 

The President's Solidarity Fun Run will take place this Sunday 23 November. This year's edition will see new departure points from all over Malta. The run will leave from San Anton Palace, whilst walks will depart from Santa Venera and Paola Square. Youths are invited to walk with the President of Malta from the University of Malta.
