Two Maltese men have been arrested in connection with drug possession.

One man is 32 years old from Tarxien, the other is 31 from Rahal Gdid.

After an investigation and observation, the police arrested the two men While they were exiting a garage in Tarxien. During the search of a vehicle on site, they found, what is uspected to be, 2kgs of cannabis.

On duty Magistrate Dr Farrugia has been informed of the incident and has appointed several experts to investigate. Both men are being kept under arrest to assist the police with the investigation.
