Environment Minister Leo Brincat today sued the editor of in-Nazzjon, Nathaniel Attard, for libel.

Mr Brincat felt offended by an article published on 26 November, entitled ‘Nefaq €1 miljun on flights f'19 il-xahar’ (‘He spent 1 million on flight tickets in 19 months’).

Mr Brincat is arguing that the article tried to ruin his reputation since the claims are untrue.

 

Lawyer Aaron Mifsud Bonnici signed the libel suit.
