A number of parliamentary officials today donated blood at the Guardamangia’s blood bank in the presence of Speaker of the House Anglu Farrugia.

Dr Farrugia urged more workers to donate blood in the days to come. He said that while everybody should enjoy the festive season and celebrate it, one should be cautious when it comes to consuming alcohol – a main cause of road accidents – and which could easily lead to the blood bank running out of blood.
