Thousands of Gozitans today greeted President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca during her two-day visit to Gozo ahead of the Strina main activity to be held on Friday.

The activities started in Gharb where Dr Coleiro Preca was welcomed with band playing and children singing Christmas carols. 

She also visited the Gozo sports complex where she was welcomed by hundreds of schoolchildren. Present was also Gozo Minister Anton Refalo. 

 

The visit concluded in Zebbug where the Strina official song ‘Int min int’ was sung.
