During a presentation ceremony this morning, Minister for Education and Employment Evarist Bartolo presented sixteen teenage students a certificate to mark the successful completion of the VET Award Fundamentals in Welding.

The training was part of the Alternative Learning Programme, a programme aimed at secondary school students with the aim to provide an alternative pathway to their education. 

The presentation was held at Motherwell Bridge Industries’ workshop in Ħal Far, the location where the coursework took place.

The training was run by Motherwell Bridge Industries’ technical training facility in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Employment and Training Corporation. Motherwell Bridge Industries is part of Hili Company, the logistics and engineering division of Hili Ventures.
