The government said that the first part of the €30 million payment ElectroGas consortium have to pay Enemalta has been made.

A payment of €2.5 million is the first of a 12 similar payments ElectroGas will be paying Enemalta over 12 months.

The payment has been made in the light of the agreement that was reached last week between the two sides.
