Two statues of St Joseph and no sign of one of Our Lady – a Piacenza shop has put on display this unusual crib which has created controversy in this town and all around Italy.

Some have complained to the owner, saying it is blasphemous; others believe that this is the way society is going, and were not surprised that someone came up with the idea.

Mediaset reports that the crib was removed after strong protests by residents in the locality.
