Bethlehem in Ghajnsielem has attracted 15,000 visitors while Dinja tat-Tfal attracted 9,000 persons, the Gozo Ministry said.

Last year a record 74,000 visited the nativity scene.

Gozo Channel transported 47,052 passengers between Friday and Sunday and conducted 162 trips. It also transported 11,000 vehicles.

The ministry also said that the committee responsible for the Christmas activities in Gozo has received positive feedback from entrepreneurs.

Gozo Minister Anton Refalo, who was accompanied by the committee’s chairman Joe Mifsud, visited the venues where the activities were being held, including The Duke and Arkadia shopping complexes.

Actors of drama programme ic-Caqqufa were also present during the Christmas Village Dinja tat-Tfal activities. Those present posed for photos with the actors while there.

The minister thanked all those who contributed in some way or other.
