Only hours after the court gave the green light for a referendum on spring hunting, political parties have started to argue over procedures.
The Nationalist Party, while welcoming the decision in one statement, issued another statement hitting out at Minister Owen Bonnici for claiming that it is the Prime Minister who will take a decision on the date of the referendum, and not the president.
The government is expected to issue an official reply shortly.
