Ryanair announces new route to Malta from East Midlands Airport

Flights to exotic locations including Malta, Tenerife and Malaga will be jetting off this summer from East Midlands Airport.

Budget airline Ryanair released their summer schedule this week with 35 routes in total.

This includes a new route to Malta, which will fly twice a week from East Midlands.

Other locations include Berlin, Faro, Lanzarote, Palma and Alicante.

And to celebrate the schedule, the airline has put 100,000 seats up for grabs at prices as low as £19.99.

Marketing officer for Ryanair, Kenny Jacobs, said: "Ryanair is pleased to launch its East Midlands 2015 summer schedule, with a new route to Malta, and 35 routes in total, which will deliver two million customers and support 2,000 on-site jobs at East Midlands Airport."
