Presentations at the Malta International Airport will be delivered in Maltese whilst thoseheld at the Preluna Hotel in Sliema will cater for the English speaking public.
The financial subjects to be discussed do not require prior knowledge and, whilst being targeted at the general public, are specifically tailored to meet the needs of persons who have never followed any courses in financial subjects. Further details of all the courses available may be obtained from the Bank's website www.bov.com.
This Programme is an annual appointment through which the Bank seeks to increase financial literacy by sharing its knowledge with the public. This is another initiative being undertaken as part of the Bank's ongoing commitment to be an active corporate citizen, and play a key role in the communities in which it operates.
The courses are free of charge, with the main scope being that of educating the participants abut financial instruments, rather than promoting specific bank products or services. A certificate of participation will be provided to those attending a minimum number of sessions. Places are limited so it is important to reserve a place. Anyone interested is invited to call the Investor Relations Officer Stefan Kottmann on 2275 3556 from Monday to Friday between 09:00and 16:00 or by sending an email to [email protected].
