PAC accepts to probe Enemalta's hedging agreements over past two years

Saturday, 24 January 2015, 13:15 Last update: about 10 years ago

At the end of its meeting on Friday evening, the Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives accepted a proposal by PAC member Beppe Fenech Adami to order the National Audit Office to examine Enemalta's hedging agreements over the past two years.

The government side in PAC did not object and so the PAC told the Auditor General to present the findings within a reasonable time.

A previous NAO report had studied in depth past fuel hedging, including a breakdown of profits or losses made.
