Malta is in the Schengen zone and travelling between Malta and our closest overseas neighbour, Sicily, should be as simple as getting from Valletta to Pieta. With this in mind and based on popular requests Virtu Ferries has introduced new ideas to make travel to Sicily as simple as possible. Virtu's new Keep It Simple travel policy includes:• No  no-show penalty on passenger tickets• No penalties for name change on passenger tickets• No penalties for name change on driver and vehicle tickets• Two children under 14 years of age travel free when travelling with two paying adults• Heavily discounted rates for commercial vehicles up to 5 metres• Commercially registered Land Rovers and pick-ups pay light vehicle tariffs (non commercial use) • No charges on change of travel date• Passenger mini-vans pay light vehicle tariffsAll you need to board the Jean De La Valette catamaran to Sicily is a valid travel document to comply with embarkation protocol.
