The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Parliament of Malta, Dr Anġlu Farrugia participated in a Conference on “Human Rights in the Modern Day Commonwealth – Magna Carta to Commonwealth Charter”, which was organised by the UK Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Westminster, London.

Dr Farrugia delivered the address “The Commonwealth: a global force for good?” during the closing session of the Conference, which was chaired by Sir Alan Haselhurst MP.

 

He was accompanied by Labour MP Anthony Agius Decelis and Nationalist MP Toni Bezzina.
