IELS, one of Malta’s leading English language schools for foreign students, raised funds for Dar tal-Providenza and the Down Syndrome Association Malta.

IELS has been raising funds in aid of charity organisations since 2007 and past beneficiaries included Id-Dar tal-Providenza, the Down Syndrome Association Malta and Puttinu Cares.

Every month, IELS staff members volunteer to contribute a small amount of their salary towards charity. The collective sum accumulated during the year is then presented to the charity organisation or organisations, identified.

“IELS is committed with its CSR policy in various areas, one of which being the contribution of funds for the benefit of people with special needs,” said IELS general manager Alex Lanczet.

“Furthermore, over the past two years, more funds were collected through the sale of Christmas raffle tickets, which were donated to the Downs Syndrome Association Malta.
