Around 20 employees of the international insurance company Munich Re today planted around 200 trees of different varieties in Pembroke.

Children were given an area all of their own and they were encouraged to plant trees there as well.

Environment minister Leo Brincat, who was present, praised this initiative and said similar initiatives from the private sector show there are people who treasure the environment and want to make it better.
