Second theft from convenience shop in two days - St Julian's shop target of thief

The police are investigating a theft which took place yesterday at about 9.30pm from a convenience shop in Triq Ross, in St Julians.

The thief's face was not covered and he as carrying an item which is not yet identified. The robber made off with €350 in cash stolen from the cash register. The salesgirl present during the theft was not hurt.

 

Duty Magistrate is conducting an inquiry into the case.

This is the second theft in as many days from a convenience store. The first took place in Msida two days ago.
