MP Marthese Portelli this evening questioned why the agreement signed with Autobuses de Leon has not been tabled, in order for the public to be made aware of what the terms and conditions are.  She reminded that the Transport Minister was willing to table the agreement, before there was ‘a change of heart.’

The Nationalist MP also questioned when this promised promotional campaign about the change in transport operator will be launched.

Earlier on this month, Transport Minister Joe Mizzi insisted that the contract governing the operation of the public transport system will eventually be published, but not before an information campaign to explain what it actually means is carried out.

Minister Carmelo Abela, replying for Transport Minister Joe Mizzi who is currently abroad, said that information will be provided during later sittings.
