Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Abela attended the launch of the Diploma in Policing for Police Inspectors earlier today, conveying the message - "see what you can do for the Corps not what you can take from the Corps".

The Diploma in Policing ceremony was held at the University of Malta, and will be offered to 29 new inspectors.

The Minister said that the Police force will be strengthened through 100 new constables, and in the coming days will announce the Director of education at the Academy. "This way we can begin planning the programmes in this field in a holistic manner. This way this Academy can turn into a College that provides accredited certificates".
