A 46-year-old man residing in Munxar, Gozo, was arraigned in Court  in Gozo today, before Magistrate Dr Joanne Vella Cuschieri.

He was accused of driving in a negligent and dangerous manner while under the influence of alcohol. He was also accused of assaulting and threatening three police officers.

The 46-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him and was granted bail under a deposit of €500 and a personal guaranteeof €10,000. He failed to deposit the €500 and was remanded in custody.
