A Tourist Information Office was today opened in Bugibba in an effort to improve the experience of holidaymakers who stay in the area.
The office was opened by Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis, Parliamentary Secretary Stefan Buontempo and St Paul's Bay mayor Raymod Tabone.
Speaking during the event, Dr Zammit Lewis said that other offices will be opened up in other tourist centres around Malta and Gozo. He also said that according to surveys, four out of five people who used such offices were satisfied with the levels of service they received in 2013.
Dr Buontempo said that the St Paul's Bay local council had implemented a number of projects that were of value, including the upcoming opening of an open gym, a memory lane project, embellishment of the promenade and the creation of a number of parking places.
