This family-friendly treat in the Phoenix Restaurant is a time-honoured tradition of a dazzling Easter Buffet luncheon that takes on a new meaning at the Phoenix.

Phoenix makes the very best of Hotel Phoenicia's 7 tumoli of kitchen gardens to deliver fresh Maltese produce in a tasty menu. Executive Chef Saul Halevi and his award-winning brigade of chefs have put together a bountiful menu for this celebratory occasion with over 40 dish choices in the Easter luncheon buffet. Jaw dropping stations are tastefully set up throughout the elegant restaurant. The carvery features succulent Sichuan pepper and honey glazed leg of pork with prunes, pineapple and horseradish cream as well as a delightful Asian marinated roasted lamb with Tahini sauce. Some of the main courses include a panache of sea bass, salmon and home made fish cakes with a red pepper fondue or an intriguing rabbit, pancetta and pumpkin pie, those with a more adventurous palate are sure to enjoy the chicken tikka masala, while the beef and ale stew rounds out the mains. For those with a sweet tooth, there are freshly-made desserts with all of the toppings and trimmings.

All this matched to a superbly stocked cellar with wines that have been carefully chosen by Food & Beverage Manager Francesco Perricone to complement chef's aromatic menus, with a wine list rich in European and New World wines. The Dominic Galea Trio will provide the added spice with live music. Children under 5 eat for free thanks to the Easter bunny. This deliciously indulgent family Buffet, is sure to thrill all partakers with traditional Easter fare in addition to Phoenix classics and more exotic dishes with an Asian twist.

For those who would like to linger, the Phoenicia's Easter Afternoon Tea is a sublime treat in the impressive Palm Court Lounge, with maestro Sammy Galea at the piano to tune up taste-buds. Traditionally, the superb range of 17 Ronnefeldt teas is accompanied by luxury ingredient sandwiches such as cucumber, egg and smoked salmon, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, cake and pastries. Not forgetting Phoenicia's very own delicious Easter-inspired treats, an unforgettable Easter experience.
